Fountain of the Great Lakes

At Giordano's downtown location there is a vintage poster of Fountain of the Great Lakes in Chicago.

Fountain of the Great Lakes? I'd never heard of it either... SO, I Googled it...

It's located at the Art Institute just down the street, I had to go find it...

I have since read that there are nearly 200 fountains, monuments & sculptures in Chicago...

Art Institute

SO... needless to say, I <3 Chicago :)

When I heard the Art Institute had an exhibit called Picasso and Chicago I really wanted to go... After attending I realized I'm not a big Picasso fan :)

I did enjoy the Art Institute, but eh... I never really liked the big sculpture in Daley Plaza & now I'll always see it as an Afghan Hound.
